the last trip to florida of the year

Well, we're here, yet again. I feel like I'm one of those snow birds, the real kind. you know, the ones that fly down to warm climates whenever it gets cold...Shaina brought up this really interesting point today about how when people travel annually, they usually go to places where they have family. We always come here...no family...pleasant weather. Shaina and I went for a run today, and then Zach came over and we went swimming. Apparently we're going out later, but I'm drained because I didn't sleep very well last night (a pity, considering I have this whole huge bed to stretch myself out in). We had wine and Caesar salad for lunch. Lots of Merlot, which tastes significantly better after the first glass.
Tomorrow I'm not sure what we're going to do. Lots of boredom will probably ensue. I'm reading the book Connie gave me, I've made a lot of progress on it Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder. I love it so far, and I think it would be a good use of my future nursing skills to go to someplace that is poor, like Paul Farmer does, and just help. Just help those people. Especially in Africa, I know there is such a brain drain in these countries...I also know foreign aid is not always the best solution but I feel like I could help a least a little.
Well, faulty interwebs allowing, I'll post something else tomorrow. I'm just bored. And so hungry! We're trying to save money, but we totally neglected the food aspect of our situation! I'm quite excited for the cruise...
