the hypothetical countdown

So, I move in on Thursday. I know this has been a long time coming, but I just don't feel like I feel like I should. It's weird. I'm not that excited. I'm more excited for school than for moving or anything, I have this feeling I'm going to be really lonely!! I've started reading one of the books for International Studies called "The Post-American World" and it's quite interesting. I hope I become as insightful as the author. He's so knowledgeable. I bet he's hot.

I worked today at Woodman's after coming home from a short stint in Chicago, which was quite fun. I saw Chaya (back from Israel and Poland) and Mendel and the rest of the Moskovits family. I love them. :) I gave away my guitar after years to Daniel Handelman, who is moving to New York on Sunday. Crazy. It's so weird that all my friends are in college now too. Anyway, Woodman's was crazy busy and I had to check the whole time. I'm hoping tomorrow is slower and I get to do distress. After work I'm hoping to come home and get some packing done for the dorms.

One thing I'm totally hyped up for is the fall! I love fall weather, it's my favorite season. I love the crisp air, until it becomes bitingly cold, and the smell of the leaves in the wind. Oh, fall. When I was a kid I used to jump in all the leaf piles, and I feel like that enthusiasm never really left me, but instead of jumping into the leaves, I'm metaphorically jumping into school, and friends, and pumpkins and harvests and everything the fall usually brings.

  1. You gave Daniel your guitar? Fool. I also like jumping in piles of leafs but now I get worried there's going to be a dirty needle or a dead body waiting for me a the bottom...
