It's incredible how time flies when you're young. I've spent all summer working and anticipating school that I forgot about the little moments that have made up the interim. I feel like the individual moments of my life are getting sucked into a faster, greater chain of events and becoming inconsequential. I really wish I could create a reduce speed button like on TiVO. heh
Things around here have been going fine, I'm looking forward to moving downtown in a few weeks. Jerry and Mel are living in the basement for a couple weeks, until Jerry can move into his new apartment and Mel goes to Spain! Jerry, Shaina and I all want to go to Spain this winter break. I'm hoping such things happen.
Baruch and I have been whatever it is that we are. It's ok. I have doubts sometimes.
Aarushi and I got back from DC last week. I've worked steadily since.
I just got a new bike for UW. It's like four inches bigger than my last bike, so it's nicer. Easier to go up hills with. The whole process was a point of contention for my dad and I, I ended up whining more than was necessary and ended up feeling like a fool at the end. Sometimes I don't understand my emotions, or why I can't keep a lid on it.
Keiona is over right now. She's surfing the internet. And listening to some ghetto music, which I do not like at all. :( I don't know what my Friday night has in store for me. Hopefully it will involve a shower and some good music.
We went to the library today and they were out of the Time Traveler's Wife, The Princess Diaries and Bridget Jones. Sucks. I'm hoping to get one book in by the time school starts. I read the Magic Tree House Penguin book yesterday at the Grimmer household while they played Sims. It sucked...those things used to be so entertaining!! I'm hoping to build up enough patience to read Pride and Prejudice at some point....
enough for now. time to take the child home.
You do let your emotions out of the bag a lil bit sometimes but its (usually cute). I also know you not-so-secretly like ghetto music so cut the crap. You've been read 'The Time Traveler's Wife' since... August? Damn, Becca
