I guess first off, the perks of being a wilted flower is that no one has to water you and you still have pretty colors. Very low maintenance.
Last night, Connie and I went to go see The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I was totally emotionally traumatized from it, to be honest. I remember reading the book at a really difficult time in my life...before high school, when things were a little rough with my mother. I think I identified really well with the main character. I really want to read the book again, now in college, because I read it in middle school and high school and found different things about it each time that struck me. Having hindsight while reading it will probably be good for me, too.
Last night I went out, but came home early, with some friends I hadn't seen in a long time and then I met up with some Bonners. Seeing Bonners sometimes really upsets me (this week especially) because I want to go back so bad it hurts. It really, really hurts.
Apply principles learned there: live each day in the moment! I am young! I am free! I am going to be a nurse! But sometimes it's just not that easy.
Today I work and then I really need to get some homework done. We'll see how far I get...
